1) PERSONAL INFORMATION (Fields marked with a * are required fields.)
A. Personal Name * Dan
B. Age and Gender * 21 years old, male
C. Where are you from? * Bucharest, Romania
2) YOUR CHARACTER
A. Server * Karazhan-EU
B. Character Name * Omgdan
C. Race and Class * I play an undead priest.
D. Number of days played (/played) * 113 days, 4 hours, 14 minutes, 32 seconds total, 96 days, 7 hours, 34 minutes, 9 seconds at level 80
E. Resistance-gear, if any * Got full frost resistance gear (used to mind control the haste add on thorim encounter back in the days and I was using FR gear for the blizzard)
F. Anything else you would like to mention about your character to make it shine? * What can I say, my character is currently a shiny dead rotted fella, I plan to faction change it to either human female or dwarf male, I can't really make it shine more than it already does, don't want to blind you guys.
G. Link you characters armory page * http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Karazhan&cn=Omgdan (USE THE URL CODE)
H. Alts? * A level 80 Death Knight which is sort of my "main alt" got pretty decent gear and have some icc 10/25 experience (http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet ... cn=Clearly), a level 80 Druid which is somehow new and I havent really had time to play it (http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet ... n=Loldruid), and several other low level alts in the 20-40 range.
3) IN-GAME & PERFORMANCE INFORMATION
A. Playing times (Example: Sunday-Monday 17-24 [we raid 5 days a week 19.30-24]) * My current schedule is very "free-for-all", I have an extremely lot of free time and this won't change soon, basically I can raid at any hour in any day, even if it means 5 am in a saturday. I do usually go out on fridays/saturdays to get smashed with booze, but I can pass on that without doing any harm.
B. Previous Guild(s) * I've started my WoW career in early 2007, when tbc was just released, by playing a mage. After several small guilds, I joined the second best guild of my realm (Ahn'Qiraj EU), Double Helix, with which I managed to clear all content before the release of sunwell, and got my hands on two server firsts, Kalecgos and Brutallus. The guild went semi-softcore and that plus the fact that I had the college admission exams upcoming, I decided to take a break. I started playing again in march 2009, when I leveled this priest. I have raided non-stop ever since, at start with a friends guild called Insomnia that soon disbanded, then with Arctic Avengers that had the same end. Then I migrated from Karazhan to Ravencrest and raided with a guild called "On a Boat", who disbanded aswell during the summer. I returned to Karazhan and joined the newly created Flawless, who soon collapsed because of gm's 1 month absence. That's when I got accepted to Nightshift, at that time the best guild of the realm. I've been in Nightshift ever since, I have been an officer for over 3 months and healing advisor, I stepped out from these duties ~1 month ago when the drama, the bad management and the lack of attention received by officers from the gm had reached a limit. I currently intend to leave, because I much more prefer a healthy raiding environment, with less drama, less fails and more progress.
C. Reason for leaving previous Guild(s) * I think my "story" above kind of answered to this question aswell, sorry for the bad distribution of answers in this case.
D. Previous PVE-experience (Vanilla-TBC-WotLK) *
Vanilla - None
TBC - Cleared everything up to felmyst, including realm firsts on kalecgos and brutallus
WotLK - Cleared everything with most achievements, worth mentioning Glory of the Ulduar Raider 25 player, Firefighter and Freya hardmode realm firsts, Algalon 25 player realm first, Yogg+0 realm first (yes, I don't have the achievement, I have only missed the kill day because of being 10 minutes late, I know the tactics and the drill perfectly, wiped there like 700 times), A Tribute to Insanity, LK 10 player realm first. My current hardmode experience is 7/12 icc 25 (without festergut, sindragosa, professor, lady deathwhisper and lich king), and 9/12 icc 10 (without professor sindragosa and lich king).
E. Describe your role in raids, aswell as a possible extraordinary role on some encounters * My role is generally to keep people alive. I'm not a meter whore, I much rather believe that a life saved beats brainless spam of hots for hps (no offence druids). I can't really think of any extraordinary role, but there are some fights where you are tasked with specific targets, such as Anub hardmode (spam that penetrating cold mark, keep inspiration on tank), Saurfang hardmode (when im being tasked on healing a mark) or even Faction Champions hardmode (shield the raid, dispel dispel dispel)
F. Link us a WWS/WMO/DPS report to show your performance raidwise (If not you will most likely be rejected)* This is currently a problem which currently delayed my application, my guild isn't really keeping updated parses of our raids and I will have to do it myself for the upcoming monday/tuesday raid, and come back to post them.
G. Link us your former DKP Profile/Guild DKP system * No such thing, NS has a "loot council" policy.
H. We take PTR serious, do you have any issue being raid ready on PTR for raiding content? * Not at all, I enjoy playing new content more than anything.
4) COMPUTER AND INTERNET INFORMATION
A. Computer specifications * Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E8300 @ 2.83 ghz , 4 gb RAM , 1 gb asus videocard EAH4850.
B. Internet-connection * 100 mb fiberlink
C. Do you have issues with D/C due to internet/comp. problems? * Not really, but after all whose computer doesn't restart once in a while? I do however have no constant problems with my pc/internet that I could think of.
D. Do you have a microphone and are you able to communicate on ventrilo? Yes I do, I'm not shy either.
E. Screenshot of your in-game UI showing your keybinds(Link it (http://imageshack.us) * http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/8619/wowscrnshot012410213553.jpg (USE THE URL CODE)
5) SHOW US YOUR BEST, NOT SCRUB
A. Why do you want to join ScrubBusters? * Because I'm looking for competitive end-game raiding. Because as far as I've seen you guys take things seriously with a "let's have fun but do our jobs" attitude, I really liked that you constantly release movies proving you're dedicated and proud of your accomplishments, you seem like a well organised drama-free guild, a community of professional people in which I want to believe I could fit.
B. Why should we pick you? * Because I'm dedicated. I raid, I raid a lot, I love doing it. I very rarely miss a raid for an important RL problem, I'm always prepared, got my consumables ready, my face washed, my Nestea and chocolates and I'm always good to go for competitive raiding. I don't wait to be summoned, I'm not a raid logger, I'm sociable, friendly and talkative, I'm pretty sure I'm a "likeable" person.
C. What are you goals besides character development in World of Warcraft* I'm currently studying law school, my goals besides character developement aren't really career based atm, I prefer having fun with friends and enjoying my time out.
D. Is there anything you would like to add? I would want to thank you for the time taken to read this, It's probably done in haste and sucks, I can't really tell right now. I'll probably realise how bad this is after i post it -.-
E. Is there anyone in ScrubBusters who can possibly vouch for you? Unfortunately no.
6) CONFIRMATION
Take your time to look through your application before you submit.
A. Are you sure this is your final application? * Let's say almost final, I still need to come back and post some WoL logs.
B. Now end your application by telling us a joke * Ordinary people have panic attacks. Chuck Norris has Jack Bauer's attacks! (for the 24 fans :S )
